I had special fondness for that ad growing up because the bus that pulls up is clearly a Burlington Transit (or whatever our agency was called) bus; the orange/purple lines were a backwards “B” for Burlington.
And of course Burlington was a completely obscure town in my childhood. If you were from Toronto you didn’t know about a world beyond Scarberia. So seeing us in the national media (beyond Cathy Evelyn Smith and Rob Preuss et. al) was awesome.
